Rudy Mahara:

Founder, Lead Photographer, Editing Technician

Rudy is the vision behind Mahara Photography. Quality, artistic photography has been a passion of Rudy’s for 8 years. Rudy is our main photographer and began his photographic journey in high school where he won scholastic photography awards and other various contests. He first actualized a career in photography after photographing his National Guard unit run through combat exercises. Soldiers in his unit loved the action pictures.  He received military medals for his enthusiasm and excellence in the moral boosting photography. This encouraged Rudy to pursue his passion. He aquired a job with a company in Elkhart, Indiana called Action Sports Photography. Rudy shot youth athletic competitions for three years before moving back to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Rudy graduated from Bethel College with a degree in Christian Ministries and is married to Karen.

Karen grew up in Fort Wayne, IN and graduated from Bethel College with a degree in Elementary Education. She is now employed by Imagine Schools in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She enjoys working with children, as well as assisting with Mahara Photography and making sure everything runs smoothly as possible.
